Portobello Road, donde se vende y se compra es Portobello Road [Part. 1]

I'm in a hurryyyyyy!!...
I have to leave very soon (4 minutes according to my watch!!) But I am DETERMINED to do this post today!! It's been far too long!
Solution: Divide and Conquer! I will put half the pictures up now and the other half when I get a bit more time, in about a month...!

Where did I go? Portobello Rd! And it was a really nice change from sticking east, I felt like I was abroad somewhere...!
The stalls are similar, the stuff they're selling is similar, the people dress similar the difference I noticed to a market in the east end? THE COLOURS! How cool are all the houses painted in different colours, obviously I had been to portobello market before but I had never reallylooked while I was there!

Once you taste fashion there is no going back - GFW 2010

Graduate fashion week is on at the minute at Earls Court, where all the best colleges and Universities in the UK come together and show off their student's work on separate stands.

I went to the De Montfort Show today and was impressed with what I saw! Really awesome prints and patter cutting going on! Blogger Susie Bubble was sat next to us at the show, and I must say, really loved the shoes!

I envy having the time/space/money/resources to design a collection based on anything I wanted, things would be so different if I was to design a new colleciton now.... watch this space!

If you don't see it at CSM, you won't see it anywhere else

I attended the Central Saint Martin's Ba show held at York hall in Bethnal Green last week and was able to take quite a few good pictures (388 to be precise....)

Selecting which ones to post has been really hard work as every student had an impressive and innovative aspect to their collections.
From daring to daft, it is obvious how CSM have to the reputation they do. It's not only about fashion but also about art.
I have really enjoyed going back through these pictures and recalling some of my favourite outfits that I'd forgotten about as there were so many students showing, some of them actually made me laugh! Awesome!

So take off you hiking boots and slip on you stilettos as down and out does fashion

I really loved this collection because it reminded me of this blog, not down and out in the tramp sense of the word but in a exploring and discovery sense

This is the one that made me laugh out loud! Chicken legs? On a bag? How can you possibly go wrong!

This is wicked menswear! I really like that all the outfits are so different from each other but work really well as a collection

Naked women... on clothes!

This is the daring one... I assume you can see why! Looked really impressive on the catwalk. When all the models got to the end they altered the look of the collection by inflating the outfits, changing the silhouette

These clothes are so much fun! They just say, get over yourself fashion world, please!

I was really impressed by these 'ice shoes'

Home wear fashion?

And for the grand finale.... women on stills! this was crazy! and I'm pretty everyone in there held onto their seat quite tight dreading what could possibly happen!

This-n-thatting

So, I have a few pictures from random little trips that I've taken whilst being out and about from Liverpool St, to being back on Regent's Canal and Camden!

I really can't wait to go and spend a day in Camden, taking some pictures and discovering new places (as IF I haven't done that yet! )
I hope these pictures aren't too random and fit in nicely with each other!

Maybe if I take enough pictures of these bikes someone might get the hint...?

Looking forward to the soon to come Camden adventure!!

Sometimes the best place with the best view is the street

Liverpool St.

...and when I get my bike I am so decorating it like this!

Regent's canal, really like the colours
